Halloween Mini Pics!!! And updates!

Ok, here's my Halloween mini album. I used a kit i purchase from Craft Craving Chicas. It was really super cute and jammed packed and was from the Trick or Treat line by Fancy Pants. Now i have to warn everyone ... these pictures are SUPER amateur!!! They're taken from my phone! In horrible lighting from my husbands grandma's kitchen!!! As for the album itself ... well! lol! Pretty amateur too i guess! I kept it simple and very "kiddie" i guess because it will be filled with pictures of my 15 month old and my 6 week old! I'll be doing another album using the Basic Grey line Eerie and that will be more of a "sexy spooky sophisticated vampire" thing going on! lol! That one will be filled with scrubby and mines pictures!

Currently, i'm working on an album using my GGS September kit which uses Basic Grey's Lemonade. I really love the kit! Thank you Marion! Awesome kit! It's going to be called "Summer Treats" and will include pictures of my daughter enjoying all sorts of summer foods! I really love the colors in this collection! And actually ... I'm really loving Basic Grey right now. After that i'll be working on an anniversary album (our 2nd wedding anniversary which happened to be yesterday!) using the urban prairie collection!

I wanted the smoky acetate sheet to look kind of like a screen door to the house A few tags for pictures and journaling Envelope with a few tags Dracula and his make shift coffin Opens up for pictures Layered orange and black burlap then added a photo mat on dimensionals I thought this paper was too cute to cover. I'm not even sure how i'll be adding pictures to still show it off ... any ideas?I painted the chipboard with a deep purple with a Making Memories paint (Halloween collection I found at Tuesday Morning) then faux stitched with my white gel pen

Halloween mini-album using CCC kit!!!

Hi everyone! It has been WAAAY to long since i posted i know! But i finally got my craft space set up to where i can work a little bit. Unfortunately, our internet hasn't been set up yet and i've been using my phone to see youtube videos and to blog surf! Anyways!!! I recently ordered a mini album kit fromLisa & Regina over at Craft Craving Chicas (craftcravingchicas.blogspot.com). It really was waaaaay too cute to pass up on! It's a Halloween mini kit using the Trick or Treat collection from fancy pants and i'm almost done with it but i just had to tell everyone about it!!! For $25 i received a super packed kit!!! I mean SUPER packed!!! Like i said i'm almost done and i can already see that i'm gonna have lots of supplies left over and I did use up a lot of them already in the mini itself!!! So go check them out ... they're awesome!

Introducing Baby David Anthony Botello III

Hi everyone!!! I just had to post at least one picture of our new baby!!! He was born August 28th at 6:12 AM. He weighed 9lbs 4.2oz and was 20in long!!! I know most of you think that's a huge baby but our daughter was 10.6lbs! So i know i'll be hated for saying this ... but he was kind of an easy one! Except that it took them nearly 3 hours to get me the epidural after i asked for it!!! Eeek! Scrubby almost got strangled!!! lol! But here's a picture of our precious baby boy! I will be posting lots more of him and our family once we get moved and settled in. On that note ... I get our house this Saturday, the 5th! BUT ... the movers aren't bringing our things until Tuesday!!! Sucks!!! I was really forward to getting out of the in-laws this weekend and into our own place. Scrubby had to go back to California and he'll be back the 20th of this month ... this time for good! So we're very excited to be together and getting settled in to our new lives in Houston! Once we do, i'll be getting back into my scrapping groove and getting all caught up with the GGS gals! I miss all ya'll and thanks so much for all of you who have sent me and my family nothing but good thoughts and wishes through out the last month!

GGS Mini July Trade Album, part 1

Hi everyone!!!

This is my second video on youtube.com!!! It's me sharing what i have completed so far on my mini album to trade for the month of July in the Girls Gone Scrappy Kit club!!! My messy scrappy living room ...

Hi everyone!!!

So, as I type, i have my living room converted as my scrapping space. As i've mentioned before, both my husband and I are Marines. I'm no longer active duty but he is, and we live on base. Being in southern Cali, the condo the military provides on-base is MUCH nicer and bigger than anything we could ever afford out in town ... BUT they do base them on your family size and since we have a family of 3, we only get a two bedroom condo. So my dinning room table has been converted into my scrapping area but even that is too small. I'm looking forward to our move to Houston because even though i won't have my own scrap room, we will have a bigger living area and i'll be able to have enough space to set up a nice size desk and some drawers to organize all my stuff!!! I've only been scrapping for about 3 months and since i know we're moving soon, i've been keeping my purchases to a minimum ... but once we get out there ... there will be no stopping me! lol!!! Scrubby is terrified!!! Lol!!! oh, yeah, here's a pic of my biggo belly. My due date is August 30th and he will be named David Anthony Botello III.

My first GGS mini album

Hi everyone!!!

This is my very first video. I'm not quite sure if i'm loading it right but hopefully it works out ok. lol!!! Anyways, it's me sharing my first mini album that I made with the GGS mini album kit I received for the month of July. BTW, the Girls Gone Scrappy Kit Club is a really awesome mini album kit and trading club hosted by Marion at apieceofcraft.com. Anyways, I kind of got stuck with it because this kit was seriously so cute that once I covered the chipboard with the paper I didn't want to add anything else to it and loose being able to see the gorgeous paper! My computer is on the fritz!!!

Hi there everyone!!! I just want to let everyone know that my computer is not up and running right now. I'm using my phone but unfortunately i can't check everything on there. Some websites just don't upload right and links don't work ... with blogger i can't upload new posts so i had to escape the house for a little bit and sneak into a computer cafe! lol! Unfortunately with a baby it's not to easy to spend too much time in here so i don't think i'll be doing this again! No worries! My computer will be back on the 16th!!! Hopefully! *crossing my finger* So it's not too much longer now! I'm eager to get it back! I have some things i want to finish up and take a couple of snaps of and upload!

92 days of summer contest ...

YMBD is having this great contest called 92 days of summer. The goal is to take one picture everyday of the summer ... at the end of each week, create a layout! Sounds simple enough right??? Lol! I'm still so confused about what i'll be doing exactly but i thought i'd share the pics that i have so far. The general theme of the whole album i will be creating with this contest is "Summer Through The Eyes of a Princess". The princess being my daughter, Aurora!!! So all pictures will be of my daughter really growing up and being a crazy baby! I'm looking forward to it because we have some special events planned for our family this summer. Aurora's 1st bday, her 2nd trip to Disneyland, zoo trips, museum trips, beach trips, pool trips, picnics, spending time with grandma in LA, moving to Houston, airplane trip, Aurora becoming a big sister ... those are just a few of the things we know we want to do this summer so it'll be really fun to capture those memories through scrapbooking! 1st Annual Card Showdown {@} 2S4U ...

So, here is my entry for the 1st Annual Ultimate Card Showdown that's happening over at 2 Sketches 4 You. It's a really fantastic challenge going on and the grand prize is $500 worth of goodies in scrapbooking tools and supplies!!! WOW!!! I know my photography probably isn't the best ... my camera broke down on me and i haven't been able to replace it so for now my phone camera will have to do! Pooh! I hope this doesn't affect how my card is judged!!! :/!!! Eeek!!!

Anyways, I love how it came out ... the distressed zebra patterned paper and that gorgeous hot pink patterned paper with crowns is from Glitz. I love how youthful their line is ... it's very cool and rock & roll and it's very much my personality so i love using it! I also used black, tink pink and precious cardstock. I added a lil bit of bling on my scallop detail and a crown punch and flourishes. I hope you enjoy it and I hope the DT loves it too! It's ME!!!

Hi everyone out there!!! Just a little about myself ... my name is Stephanie!!! I'm a mother and wife. My husband's name is David and i have a daughter whose name is Aurora. She'll be turning 1 in July!!! We are also expecting our second baby due August 30th!!! Luckily for us, we are having our little boy who will be named David after his daddy! We're so blessed and lucky!!!

Before mommy and wife, I was a Marine ... I finished my 4 year contract in October of '08. David is also a Marine and we actually started dating (kind of!) while we were both in Iraq. When i got to come home from that deployment, David had to stay for another 7 months. But he got to come home for 2 weeks first. In that time we got married ... and 3 weeks after he returned to Iraq, we found out about our first little miracle baby! He came home just 4 months before she was born ... and 4 months after she was born ... we got the sneaky little surprise of our second miracle baby!!! It was a complete shock and we never expected it but here he is and we're eagerly awaiting his arrival!!!

David will be getting out of the Marines soon and we'll be making a permanent move from my gorgeous and beautiful home state of California to his hometown of Houston, Texas. I'm really looking forward to it but i can honestly say i am NOT looking forward to the humidity or the crazy weather!!!

So that's it about me and my family! Besides that my newest addiction is scrapbooking and this blog will be completely dedicated to posts about my scrap addiction! Eventually i will be adding youtube videos of my future projects and i hope i can grow a following for everyone to enjoy!
